Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until blended. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix gently until combined.
  4. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow cupcakes to cool for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
  6. For frosting, beat softened butter until creamy, gradually add powdered sugar, then mix in green food coloring.
  7. Frost cooled cupcakes generously and decorate with gummy worms or candy eyeballs.
