- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary), chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, brown sugar, black pepper, and herbs until the sugar dissolves.
- Place the flank steak in a resealable bag or dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
- Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for 5-7 minutes per side until charred and medium-rare.
- Let the steak rest for 8-10 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
