  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1/4 cup honey (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in canned pumpkin.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just mixed.
  5. Pour half the batter into the prepared dish, drizzle half of the honey glaze over it, add the remaining batter, and top with more glaze.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool slightly before serving.
