  • 2 lbs boneless turkey breast
  • 1/4 cup white or yellow miso paste
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine miso paste, maple syrup, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Pat the turkey breast dry and rub half of the marinade over it evenly.
  4. Marinate the turkey in the refrigerator for at least one hour or overnight for enhanced flavor.
  5. Place the marinated turkey breast on a lined roasting pan and roast for 1 to 1.5 hours until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  6. Brush with remaining marinade before resting for 15 minutes; slice and serve garnished with green onions.
