  • 1 (8-10 lb) bone-in ham
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple rings, drained
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and lightly grease a large roasting pan.
  2. Place the bone-in ham in the roasting pan, fat side up, and score the surface in a diamond pattern.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, bourbon, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cloves.
  4. Generously pour half of the glaze over the ham, ensuring it seeps into the scores.
  5. Arrange pineapple rings around and on top of the ham; drizzle remaining glaze over them.
  6. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for about 1 hour. Baste every 20 minutes.
  7. Remove foil during the last 20 minutes to caramelize the glaze before serving.
