Description

Hearty Beef-Stuffed Pasta Shells are a comforting, flavor-packed dish filled with seasoned beef and creamy cheeses. Perfect for family gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (basil and oregano)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain gently.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion until translucent. Add minced garlic and ground beef; cook until browned.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, dried herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with half of the mozzarella; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Stuff each shell with the meat mixture followed by the ricotta mixture.
  6. Place stuffed shells in a baking dish lined with remaining tomato sauce. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
