- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook strawberries and balsamic vinegar for about 5 minutes until softened; let cool slightly.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of the strawberry mixture on top and gently swirl with a knife. Pour remaining batter over and repeat swirling.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean but moist. Cool completely before slicing.
