- 1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp sesame oil (for frying)
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar (for dipping sauce)
- 1 tsp chili paste (for dipping sauce)
Instructions
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1-inch thick triangles.
- Coat each triangle in cornstarch until fully covered.
- Mix soy sauce and garlic powder in a bowl, dip each triangle into the mixture, then roll in sesame seeds.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the triangles for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- For the dipping sauce, mix rice vinegar and chili paste in a small bowl. Serve warm with tofu triangles.
