Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (1 oz)
  • 4 cups nacho cheese chips
  • 2 cups chopped lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup salsa

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add taco seasoning and ¼ cup water to the beef, stir well, and simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Open bags of nacho cheese chips and slightly crush them to create space for toppings.
  4. Layer seasoned beef on top of the chips followed by shredded cheese to allow it to melt slightly.
  5. Finish with lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa as desired.
  6. Serve immediately with forks or spoons for guests to enjoy their personalized walking tacos.
