  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Add elbow macaroni and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
