Description

  • 1 lb ribeye steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 medium sweet onion (sliced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced, optional)
  • 4 oz provolone cheese (sliced)
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice ribeye steak thinly against the grain for tenderness.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened and golden (about 5 minutes).
  4. Push veggies aside and add ribeye slices; season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
  5. Reduce heat to low, place provolone cheese on top of the meat, cover until melted.
