Instructions
- Marinate the flank steak by mixing olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, and chili powder in a bowl. Coat the steak well and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Wash and peel the russet potatoes; slice them into thick fries and soak in cold water for 30 minutes.
- Drain and pat dry the potatoes. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry potatoes until golden brown (5-7 minutes), flipping halfway through.
- Grill the marinated flank steak over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Let it rest before slicing thinly against the grain.
