  • 2 tsp taco seasoning
  • 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Pickles for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  2. Sprinkle taco seasoning over the cooked beef and mix well for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Form small balls from the seasoned beef and shape them into patties. Sear each patty in the skillet for 3-4 minutes per side until crispy.
  4. Warm tortillas in another skillet or microwave until pliable (about 15 seconds).
  5. Assemble tacos by layering each tortilla with a patty, followed by cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles (if using), and a dollop of sour cream.
