- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, peeled and minced
- 4 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for stir-frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch mixture. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Add vegetable oil to a large wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the wok; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add marinated chicken to the wok; cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Toss in broccoli florets and remaining marinade; stir-fry for another 3 minutes until broccoli is bright green but crunchy.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
