  • 1 can (5 oz) canned tuna, drained
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 slices sourdough or whole grain bread
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix drained tuna with mayonnaise and Dijon mustard until well combined.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice in the skillet, butter-side down. Spoon the tuna mixture on top and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  4. Cap with the second slice of bread, butter-side up. Grill for about 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  5. Let cool slightly before slicing in half and serving.
