- 12 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 4 cups fresh tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onions and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in chopped tomatoes, dried oregano, and basil. Simmer for approximately 15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of tomato sauce at the bottom. Layer with lasagna noodles, dollops of ricotta cheese, and a generous sprinkle of mozzarella.
