  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 34 pieces)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by chopping the chicken into bite-sized pieces and mincing the garlic and ginger.
  2. Marinate the chicken with soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and half of the sweet chili sauce for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken (discard excess marinade) and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the remaining sweet chili sauce to the cooked chicken; stir well to coat evenly. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes until heated through.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving. Serve hot over steamed rice or in lettuce wraps.
