- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 cups fresh strawberries (chopped)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix chopped strawberries with honey or maple syrup; let sit for about 10 minutes.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Spread the strawberry mixture evenly over it and top with the remaining oat mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
