Description

Steak and Mushroom Bruschetta is a mouthwatering appetizer that combines crispy toasted baguette slices topped with savory steak, earthy mushrooms, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Perfect for any occasion—from casual gatherings to elegant parties—this dish will impress your guests with its rich flavors and delightful crunch!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 French baguette (sliced into 24 rounds)
  • 8 oz flank or sirloin steak (sliced thinly)
  • 8 oz cremini or button mushrooms (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper. In a hot skillet over medium-high heat, sear the steak for about 3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and garlic; sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.
  4. Assemble bruschetta by topping each toasted bread slice with sautéed mushrooms and sliced steak. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
