- 2 tbsp milk for icing
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Whisk in sugar, melted butter, and apple cider until mixed.
- Gradually add flour while stirring until a sticky dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and roll it into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the surface, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal pieces. Place in a greased baking pan.
- Cover rolls and let rise again for about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- While cooling slightly, mix powdered sugar with milk to create icing consistency and drizzle over rolls.
