  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with brown and granulated sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture; fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Chill dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  7. Scoop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets; press mini marshmallows into half of them and seal with more dough.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the sheet for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
