Instructions

- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- Gradually alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture until just combined.
- Divide batter into three bowls: add cocoa powder to one for chocolate flavor, leave one plain for vanilla, and mix strawberry puree into the third.
- Spoon batters into muffin tins, filling each about two-thirds full. Swirl gently if desired.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely on wire racks.
- Whip heavy cream with icing sugar until stiff peaks form; frost cooled cupcakes generously.
