  • 2 lbs flank steak
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together lime juice, garlic, cumin, chili powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place flank steak in a resealable bag and pour marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F).
  4. Remove steak from marinade and let excess drip off. Grill for 4-6 minutes per side until medium-rare.
  5. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
  6. Serve with your favorite toppings like diced onions or avocado.
