Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz Andouille sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  2. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente; reserve some pasta water before draining.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Sauté onions and bell peppers until softened (about 5 minutes).
  4. Add sliced sausage to the skillet; cook until browned (about another 5 minutes).
  5. Stir in shrimp and garlic; cook until shrimp turn pink (around 3 minutes).
  6. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Cajun seasoning. Simmer for about 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce mixture; toss until well-coated. Add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
  8. Serve immediately, topped with Parmesan cheese and garnished with parsley.
