- 1 cup heavy cream (for frosting)
- 1 cup crushed Oreos
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
- Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form for frosting; layer whipped cream and crushed Oreos between cake layers.
- Frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining whipped cream and decorate with more crushed Oreos.
- Chill for at least an hour before serving.
