- 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
- 2 tbsp butter (for grilling)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear until golden brown on both sides (about 6 minutes per side).
- Spread marinara sauce over each chicken breast and top with grated Parmesan. Add mozzarella slices and cover briefly until melted (about 2 minutes).
- Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice butter-side down in another pan over medium heat. Add cheesy chicken on top and cover with another slice butter-side up.
- Grill until both sides are golden brown (3-4 minutes per side), pressing gently with a spatula to meld the sandwich together.
- Slice diagonally and serve warm with extra marinara for dipping.
