  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced thinly
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping parsley, mincing garlic, and slicing the steak.
  2. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear the steak for about 3 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and let it rest.
  4. Lower heat, add minced garlic to the skillet for about 1 minute. Add shrimp; cook until pink—about 3 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, then add Cajun seasoning.
  6. Toss cooked fettuccine into the skillet, mixing until well coated.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
