- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until moistened. Press into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, then mix in sour cream and vanilla until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time without overmixing. Stir in chopped pecans.
- Pour the mixture over the crust and spread evenly. Bake for 40-45 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Allow to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least two hours.
- For topping (optional), melt brown sugar with maple syrup and stir in additional pecans before pouring over chilled bars.
