Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 cups broccoli florets (steamed)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the skillet.
- Pour heavy cream into the skillet, scraping any bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for five minutes until thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until smooth.
- Return shrimp and broccoli to the skillet along with the drained pasta. Toss gently to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan and black pepper if desired.
