  • 4 (6 oz) Fresh Cod Fillets
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Pat cod fillets dry, season with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet skin-side down. Sear for about 4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove fish and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, reduce heat and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes before adding heavy cream and lemon juice. Stir well and let it bubble on low heat for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return cod to the pan, spoon sauce over fish, and let it soak up flavors for an additional minute before serving.
