- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, thyme, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour half of this mixture over the seasoned chicken in the baking dish.
- Trim the tough ends off the asparagus and arrange them around the chicken; drizzle with the remaining marinade.
