Instructions

- In another bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).

- Gradually add dry ingredients alternately with milk, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
- Divide the batter into three bowls: leave one plain, color one red, and one blue using food coloring.
- Spoon dollops of each colored batter into prepared pans and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
